The SCHEMA Hub and the Birmingham Plastics Network recently co-hosted an event called "Science to Enable Circular Economy and Growth for UK Chemicals and Plastics Industries" at the Royal Society in London. 

The afternoon kicked off with Professor Graham Hutchings CBE FRS FREng welcoming attendees and introducing the two research entities. This was followed by the day's programme.

There was also a panel discussion chaired by Dr Dan Korbel with panelists including CEO at Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) Dr Colin Church and Professors Charlotte Williams, Andrew Dove, Kylie Vincent, and Matthew Rosseinsky.
